Club House
Our clubhouse is spacious with a large, covered veranda where morning and afternoon tea or coffee can be enjoyed along with the rest of the Apollo Community.
Outdoor Pool
** A new pool is under construction for 2024 **
On those really hot days take a dip in the large outdoor pool to cool down after lazy, afternoons sunbathing.
Pool Facilities
There is a guest fridge in the south fridge shed, which can be used to keep your cool drinks cold and there are washing up facilities, for day visitors, should they be required. There is also a shed where day visitors can store sun loungers etc.
We have 2 shower facilities, the northerly facility has a large wet room with 2 showers, hand basins, ladies and gents toilets and a sauna. The smaller southern facility has a private shower with ladies and gents toilets.
The pool is surrounded by extensive tanning lawns with trees, so there is shade if you prefer it!
The Grounds
The club’s grounds occupy just under six acres of ancient woodland in Southern England close to the South Downs and less than ten miles from Brighton and the sea. The secluded yet sunny site is easily accessible by road. Village shops and other amenities are nearby.
Beautiful Surroundings
The stunning grounds bear witness to the hard work and dedication of the members and is carried out on a voluntary basis.
The barbecue and spit roast area is available to all members at all times. Weather permitting the club’s barbecue is lit on Saturday evenings throughout the summer. Bring some food and a bottle and join in!
There are extensive sunbathing lawns as well as quiet areas for those who want to get away from it all.
